Accenture is celebrating its tenth anniversary of the startup of operations in Rosario, one of its three strategic poles where it develops its activities in Argentina, together with La Plata and the City of Buenos Aires.

Its history there started with 10 employees, and today they are more than 300 collaborators working for different industries, from financial services to energy, passing from insurance, media and entertainment, chemicals and even communication, for 9 Spanish-, Portuguese- and English-speaking countries.

Professional quality

As explained by Accenture, the city of Rosario, with its more than 900 thousand inhabitants, offered different competitive and strategic advantages for setting up the strategic pole. In addition, its multiple universities of renowned academic level are breeding ground of huge prestige for the continuous recruiting of talents by the company.

"In 2006 we took the decision of expanding to Rosario with the purpose of diversifying our ‘footprint’ attracted by the quality of the technology professionals offered by the city,” commented Flavio Squillacioti, Managing Director of Accenture.

"A correct decision. 10 years later we are at one of the most important software development centers of the province joining the growth in the export of knowledge-based services (KBS) and fully integrated both in the university area and in the solid IT ecosystem shown by the city. This tenth anniversary encourages us to continue growing in our digital and innovation agenda,” he concluded.

Some of the prominent milestones of this office in the last ten years were the development of the mobile application for the colloquiums of IDEA of 2015 and 2016, the most-important gathering of businessmen of Argentina. The operation has a higher level in the development of its activities, corroborated by certifications such as ISO 9001, 27001 and CMMI-DEV Level 3 SSAE16/ISAE3402. Also, the undergoing migration of Accenture’s cloud applications was planned, and the Recruiting area for Technology is led, from here.

Accenture has 7500 employees in the country, distributed in offices located in the Greater Buenos Aires, the City of Buenos Aires, La Plata and Rosario
